PRESS RELEASEWuerselen, November 19, 2021
HANG OUT AND DO GOOD - this is the motto of this year's BLACK FRIDAY at the start-up HÄNG, manufacturer of innovative outdoor products such as the HÄNG, DÄCKE and the BÄG.
The founders Tobias Tullius and Vincent Hommel want to counter the discount battle with something useful this year. After the fundraiser met with an overwhelming response last year, they are expanding it this year. 5% of all profits generated in November benefit non-profit organizations. HÄNG even donates 100% of the profits from orders received on Black Friday.
At the request of the community - and out of our own conviction - we support five initiatives: united4rescue, BUND e. V., Action Germany helps flood relief, German Depression Aid Foundation and the step by step e. V
The action alliance united4rescue supports the civil sea rescue of refugees. With their help, for example, the Sea Watch e. V. put another rescue ship into operation in 2020 and lift the determination imposed by Italy in the same year.
The BUND - Federation for the Environment and Nature Conservation Germany e. V. is part of the "Friends of the Earth" network. Since 1975, the association has been campaigning for the environment and nature conservation throughout Germany. The association is currently supporting various projects ranging from climate protection and biodiversity to the mobility revolution - all things that are also important to the founders Tullius and Hommel.
The "Aktion Deutschland Hilft" collects donations for those affected by the flood of the century in Germany in the summer. Even more than four months after the disaster, many of the local people still need help. The action alliance supports the submission of applications and provides support services and tools.
The self-declared goal of the “Deutsche Depressionshilfe Foundation” is “to make a significant contribution to better care for people suffering from depression and to reducing the number of suicides in Germany.” We think: In view of the fact that every fifth person is confronted with mental illnesses in the course of their life, it is a social duty to help!
The “step by step e. V.” based in Tyrol has been supporting children and young people with developmental delays for 12 years and supports them on their way to the greatest possible independence.
The commitment to the Eden Reforestation Projects remains unaffected. Of course, HÄNG also plants two trees for every order on BLACK FRIDAY. In addition, the start-up recently committed itself to the Sustainable Development Goals of the UN.
